If I were a good Chinese son, below are pictures of the home I would build for you to retire in. After looking through some of these photos, I think you will understand why it is that Chinese parents want sons so badly when you and I know just how amazing a good daughter can be.
By the way, "home" sounds a little misleading. It is an estate. A complete world unto itself, much like Harvard's campus. Do you remember stepping through the gates from the hot, busy road in Cambridge onto that celestial green? Well, an individual achieved that near Zhuhai when building his parent's retirement home. Of course, his father died within a year of moving in, and the estate was too big for his mom to live in alone, so it was converted into a public park. But, still, he is a good good son.
