The Alhambra, a collection of palaces, a military station, and medina collected together on top of a forested hill, is a stunning place. Every section and room calls for a thoughtful pause (though Jess and I only really heeded that call when it was made in the shade or among the cool palace walls). There is so much to share from our hundreds of photographs (Jess managed to take at least 48 within one 10 minute span) that I figured I would try sharing them in themes. This post's theme: my favorite floors. Can you guess which one is important and unique in the Muslim world?
