This is one of my favorite views from my bedroom balcony. Down to the lower left is the recreational center that looks impressively Olympic on the outside, but is disappointing inside (I am told).
Here is that gymansium below the mountains. Impressive, yes? Even if it is not too nice on the inside, I love seeing this every morning. It is not the building that contains the pool, so I doubt I will use it often. Summer has been very kind to offer to get me my pool card ASAP so that we can go swimming together!

Bikes, bikes, everywhere: bikes! This is not even close to how bikeful a small area can be, but this picture loaded faster than the other zixingche (Chinese for bicycle) pictures did. These bikes are in the parking garage below my apartment.
Go Slow! I love reading Chinese road signs. This one graces the driveway leading out from my apartment building, Rongyuan Yi-hao.
It looks overcast in your pictures. As you said, it is the rainy season. The mountains are beautiful.
